TSS provides routine maintenance, repair, and calibration of lab equipment across campus.With the use of the machine shop and electronics shop, TSS designs and fabricates lab apparatuses for instructional purposes for academic departments. Examples of work done by TSS in various departments:

• Biology - 100 pipettes and 83 microscopes are calibrated, repaired, lubricated, and cleaned each year. Scales, centrifuges, Elga water filter, freezers, and shakers are examples of equipment that periodically need maintenance and repair.
  • Projects:​
    • Octopus dizzy tank design and build.​
    • Respirometers and kreisel tank.​
• Chemistry ​- Disassemble, clean, and calibrate 33 scales each summer.

• Communication and languages - audio and video equipment maintenance.​
• Library - equipment maintenance and repair.​
• Music – audio equipment in the choir room, auditorium Recital Hall​
• WEC - speaker, amplifier, projector, and screen maintenance in the gymnasium.​
• Ad building - bell ringer maintenance.​
• Projector Maintenance – Clean and replace projector filters for all departments. ​
• Nursing – Repair air compressors for Nursing Simulation lab​
• Engineering - Lab equipment in the Circuits lab, Digital lab, Analog lab, EMEC lab, Materials lab, Fluidslab is checked and calibrated each year.
