Freshman Scholarship

Requirements to Receive Award	Award Amount
Accepted to WWU Accepted into honors program Completed at least two quarters of HONR 131, 132, 133 Completed College Writing (HONR 141 recommended) WWU cumulative GPA at the end of each term of 3.0 or higher 3.0 GPA in all HONR courses	$1000 scholarship applied to student’s account at the start of spring term.

Sophomore Scholarship

Requirements to Receive Award	Award Amount
Completed 45 university level credits (required for sophomore standing) Completed HONR 243 (fall term) Completed HONR 131, 132, 133 Completed College Writing (HONR 141 recommended) WWU cumulative GPA at the end of each term of 3.0 or higher 3.0 GPA in all HONR courses	$1000 scholarship applied to student’s account at the start of spring term.

Junior Scholarship

Requirements to Receive Award	Award Amount
Completed 90 university level credits (required for junior standing) Completed 21 credits of HONR courses by spring term Completed College Writing (HONR 141 recommended) WWU cumulative GPA at the end of each term of 3.0 or higher 3.0 GPA in all HONR courses	$1500 scholarship applied to student’s account at the start of spring term.

Senior Scholarship

Requirements to Receive Award	Award Amount
Completed 136 university level credits (required for senior standing) Have an approved senior outline before the last two terms of enrollment Enrolled in all HONR courses needed to complete the honors program WWU cumulative GPA at the end of each term of 3.0 or higher 3.0 GPA in all HONR courses	$1500 scholarship applied to student’s account at the start of spring term.

Student eligibility will be monitored by the director of the Honors General Studies Program.
